Mark is a dedicated aviation professional with more than 25 years’ industry experience. During this time he has completed many aircraft and engine transactions and is acknowledged internationally as an advocate of commercial aviation.
Mark has initiated, negotiated and concluded a broad range of complex projects, including new aircraft order campaigns for lessors and airlines; aircraft & engine sales, purchases, operating leases and finance leases; debt programmes; and joint-ventures. He also advises on strategy at senior level and has been responsible for designing and implementing many bespoke arrangements concerning disputes and disagreements among airlines, aircraft lessors, OEMs and MROs, by leading client teams and interacting productively with chairpersons, CEOs and senior management of counter-parties.
A former senior executive at GPA, Mark’s work has increasingly tended towards Africa and the Middle East in recent years. As a firm believer in commercial aviation as a ‘force for good’, Mark also writes for trade and other publications from time to time and is frequently invited to speak at conferences, seminars and training events.
